ありがとう日本 また来年! コロナについて考えてみた by 夫

Thank you Japan See you next year! I thought about Corona by Husband

Hello!

Husband.

How are you all doing? In the early areas, it seems that the children's school has already started? ?

Even if it is late, it will start from September 1st, so the children's summer vacation will be two days away. Mothers and fathers must be relieved. smile

Well, today I'm writing this blog from the air. I am returning to Spain right now after staying in Japan for 6 weeks.

First go to Munich and then transfer to Barcelona.

Door to door takes about 24 hours. Because it is not possible to fly over Russia now, and I am going to Europe via Alaska and Greenland, so it takes more than 14 hours when the flight normally takes a little over 10 hours. Sweat

However, since I heard that it was 16 hours at first, I am relieved that it is not as much as I thought. Well, it's a long way to get to Barcelona from there. . .

This time in Japan, I was able to meet not only my family but also my friends for the first time in a long time, and I had a great time!

Thanks to my friend for taking time out of his busy schedule!

Time with everyone Priceless, Mastercard!

Also, tot anira be's first pop-up was successfully held, and we are deeply grateful to all the customers who came!

There were no restrictions on restaurant business this year, so I was able to eat a lot of delicious food. Last year there was a limit on the offer of alcohol.

After all, Japanese rice is the best in the world.

@Osaka Takoyaki Yamachan

However, it is also true that I did not spend as much as I had hoped.

I really wanted to go out more and meet people. disappointing. crying

There are two factors. one,

too hot

is. It is impossible to go outside during the day. . .

Also, if you think it's getting a little cooler,

the weather is too bad

How many times did it rain during your stay? . .

This year, the weather was a bit tough, with two choices: hot or heavy rain. . .

No matter what I say later, the impact of corona . . .

Actually, the year before last, I came back to Japan last summer.

I had a lot of movement restrictions, so I couldn't quite meet people, and this year!

That's what I thought, but to be honest, I was quite surprised because the situation hadn't changed much for three years in a row.

I don't mean to criticize Japan, but if we just talk about policies and responses to the coronavirus, isn't it quite the opposite of the world? I think.

I can assure you that the Japanese people have the highest morale in the world.

However, the fact that Japan, which is so considerate of the people around us, has become the world's most infected country, makes me feel that corona is not something that can be stopped, but something that we have to deal with.

Of course, there are tricks in the number of infected people themselves.

Japan has just started to change, but the United States and Europe no longer collect accurate statistics, and there is no obligation to declare them in the first place.

For example, Spain has been announcing the number of infected people only twice a week for a long time.

That number is also pretty low. Roughly correcting the number of new infections per day will be about 2,000 to 3,000.

Spain has one of the highest vaccination rates in the world, so that is also a factor. Also, there are many people who got the first and second waves, so I think that herd immunity has been established.

I think that these are one of the reasons for the great success, but there is a possibility that more people are actually affected.

However, even if I have a fever, I won't even get tested unless there's something really wrong, and I'm resting at home. another).

Also, if the symptoms of corona are mild, you can go to work or school at your own discretion. Of course, the concept of close contact does not exist.

In other words, the current situation is that it is treated almost the same as the common cold.

If that's the case, I think it's going to be rushed that you can't compare even if you look at such numbers.

So Spain has a total of 97 deaths over the past week, even if you look at the number of deaths that are supposedly irrefutable and well-reported.

This is also an overwhelmingly small number compared to Japan even if the difference in population is taken into account.

In Spain, we are currently doing very little.

Masks are compulsory only in public transportation, pharmacies, and hospitals, but in the city, almost no one wears them indoors or outdoors. Outside, it's about 1 in 100 people.

Of course, I'm not saying that it's better not to wear a mask, and there are a certain number of people who have died, so I think it's best to be careful.

I think it is necessary to act responsibly, especially for those who have the opportunity to interact with the elderly.

However, even if everyone is very careful like in Japan, even if they don't care much like the Spaniards, there is not much difference in the current number of infected people. If you just take the numbers that have been announced, Spain is overwhelmingly less.

So, I think it's okay to examine the situation based on science and facts a little more and relax when you can.

For example, I wonder if it is necessary to wear a mask outside even though it is so hot.

When I went to town, I obeyed Tsuyoshi, and of course I wore a mask everywhere. When I passed by, there were many scenes where I raised my mask to the top and passed by. It's like I'm a dirty creature (I think the other party probably just thought it was etiquette).

Is that a disgusting old man who is avoiding me as a wife? After consulting with

You were doing the same thing in Spain months ago.

Not only that, but he went out of his way to side-step like Michael Jackson to the other side of the road!

I was soothed.

I don't have much sense of rhythm. . .

That's right. I myself was very careful when corona was very popular in Spain. However, even though I was careful, I didn't wear a mask outside, and I usually went out to eat with my friends. I also watched my favorite soccer game, and in a packed stadium, I was surrounded by supporters cheering without masks.

However, I tried to avoid restaurants that were too crowded and avoid gatherings with an unspecified number of people. As a result, I have never been infected with Corona (at least as far as I know).

I have no medical knowledge at all, so I will preface that it will be just miscellaneous impressions. . .

I feel like I don't have to wear a mask outside, and I feel like it's okay to eat and drink in restaurants as long as I keep my distance from the table next to me. I feel like I don't have to force disinfection every time I enter a store, but if I wash my hands before eating, I'll be fine.

I just sterilized at the store next door, but my hands are getting rough!

That's what I think.

Even when watching sports in Japan, at first, you are not allowed to speak and just clap. . . Is it even preventative? I doubt it.

Of course, I think it all stems from the idea of not bothering other people by doing this, which is peculiar to wonderful Japanese people. . .

If you can't prevent infection without doing everything so stoically, I think all Spaniards are suffering from Corona.

But I get it!

Every day, there are tens of thousands of infected people a day, and if it is reported that the highest value is renewed or medical care is under pressure, it will be scary. . .

During my stay this time, it was so hot that I couldn't go out, so I had a lot of opportunities to watch the wide shows in the daytime and the news at night, but I would be scared if I was threatened by the news every day through the screen.

If you say only negative things like this, you will be scared and won't want to do anything.

Because quite a lot of people were tired of corona and had a tragic feeling. .

I think that we should report what is dangerous and what is safe, and I think that the fact that life is returning to normal overseas should be widely communicated. If so, I think there are many people who feel uncomfortable with the current Japanese policy. As a precedent case, I think I can analyze what is good and what is dangerous.

As I was writing this, I arrived in Barcelona. After all, it was 23 hours door to door.

And since I was busy after that, a few days have passed and now it's September 5th.

In fact, my wife and daughter are still in Japan, and my son and two men are on the road for a month. . .

The summer vacation is over, but the city is still overflowing with tourists, and the situation has completely returned to the pre-coronavirus situation.

I hope the situation in Japan, which I love , will improve as soon as possible!

And although I already miss Japan in some ways, I want to enjoy my life in Barcelona as much as possible!

So everyone in Japan, the lingering summer heat is tough, but please take care of yourself!

Oh, and lastly, we have more and more autumn and winter clothes coming in, so please take a look!

So today I'm no longer a blog full of silly dad jokes. . . Even though that vulgar feeling was just right for killing time. wry smile

Following what is!
